Webserver on VirtualBox

Post by prudens »

So basically I have VirtualBox running Windows 7, on a Windows 7 Machine.

And I want to setup a XAMP/WAMP/Webserver on the VirtualBox. But I don't have a local IP... It says it's 10.17.0.1.2 or something, but when I try to port forward my router to that address, the server doesn't work.

Any ideas on how to get a "IP" for my virtual box? Thanks
