OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit
I have this OS install on both the host and a VBox guest. I also have the same version of Google Chrome and the Web Developer extension installed on both systems.
When I attempt to use one of the Web Developer custom tools (e.g. Validate HTML), it always crashes on the host. However, it always works normally on the guest.
Anyone care to speculate why is happening?

Re: Inconsistent Program Behavior between Host and Guest
You're asking why a program that has nothing to do with Virtualbox, not running under Virtualbox but directly under your host, is crashing? Usually we get the other way around
Wild guesses :
- RAM shortage
- RAM defect
- Corrupted install on the host
- HDD defect

May have discovered the source. Was running the VM with only one CPU. Change settings to use two CPUs, BOOM! Fails on both systems.
My guess now is there must be a threading issue in Chrome...
