Dual Monitor support for Linux guests

Does the current version of Virtualbox support dual monitors for Linux guests? Settings allows assigning two monitors to the virtual machine however I've tried it with both Ubuntu and Centos, and both don't work properly in dual monitor mode. If it's unsupported I won't waste time trying to get it to work.

Depends on what the current version means to you. Works fine for me with my current version.
