Black rectangles on guest windows when using seamless mode

Greetings,
I have a Windows 7 64 bit Ultimate host, with VBox 4.2.12. I have a Windows Server 2008 R2 guest, and when I switch to seamless mode, windows that belong to guest applications are partially displayed after I move them on the screen.
A screenshot is attached. Any clues about what may be wrong here?
I have other issues with Ubuntu guests in seamless mode as well, but I need to find an answer to this one first
