Win7 guest VM running under Win7 host - when I shut down the guest it seemed to shut down normally and then VM screen went black. An hour later, nothing has changed. The VM window title is "Window7 Clone [Stopping]"
According to Task Manager, no CPU is being used by VirtualBox.exe and RAM is static at 89,884K.
Should I wait (can leave it overnight if needed) or Kill the process? Obviously I'm worried about the state of my VM if I kill it.
Thanks

Re: VM hangs on "stopping"
You might as well stop it. The result is going to be no worse than a power cut. Obviously you aren't dumb enough to be using snapshots, so nothing very bad can really happen.

Thanks. Killed it; no harm done.
