Hi, ALL,
On my machine I have a standard video card and I also have TBS 6984 Quad DVBS/S2 BDA Tuner.
It is visible on my host machine (Windows 7 Ultimate), but now I need to make it available in my VirtualBox.

I looked over the VM settings but didn't find anything that will allow me to do that.

When VB and VM was installed, the drivers for this card on Windows was not installed, hence the question.

Any idea?

A vm does not see the physical hardware of the host machine. The OS in the vm sees only the vm's own virtual (emulated) devices. The vm can only access physical devices if the virtualization software passes the data from the physical to the virtual device. This does not happen for tuner cards.

So that means there is no way of working under Linux VM guest for the TV streaming.

If you need specific hardware a vm isn't your best choice. Try a dual boot set up or add another drive with a native Linux install. You can also boot your hardware from a live cd to see how linux see's the card and/or try a pendrive linux install to boot off of a usb stick. You have lots of options.
