Creating a new VM from snapshot image

I have created one VM say LCVM1 and while the LCVM1 is running at certain point I took the snapshot of the same.
Now I need to create the new VM using that snapshot .vdi image.
Is there any way of doing it?

Use Clone function. Select full clone, current state only.
Incidentally, a snapshot is not a disk image, it's only a fragment of one (i.e. the fragment that differs from the parent image). I point this out because others before you have thought that way, and made the mistake of deleting the parent image thinking it was no longer required.

Thanks mpack from your response.
I can't use the clone function, as the cloned VM will boot from scratch which apparently not my requirement.
Is it possible to save the state of VM booting up at certain point and then use the .sav image to create the new VM which will boot now from the same point?

No, the .sav file is not usable in the way you suggest.
The clone need only be booted up from scratch once - it will boot up to the same status as your previous VM. You can then save the state if you insist, though most users eventually find that it's a cause of problems (all PCs like to be restarted regularly, to clear out the cobwebs - is your time so precious that you really can't afford that additional 30 seconds out of your day?).
