Ubuntu guest - clicking issues

I have Ubuntu 12.04 installed on a Mac host and anytime I need to click on something (links, buttons, etc.), I need to click about a 1/4 inch below the item. Doesn't matter whether I'm clicking on an item on the desktop or a link in a browser or a menu item or whatever, I always need to position the cursor a 1/4 lower than the item I want to click on. Any idea how to fix this?

Disregard. I discovered that making it full screen solves the issue.
