I've enableb VT-x in the BIOS (when it's disabled the icon in virtualbox is grey), but when booting there is an error: "L'accelerazione hardware VT-x/AMD-V è stata abilitata, ma non è funzionante. You need to enable hardware virtualization in your PCs bios. If you are certain it is enabled then you may need to update your bios.
Another thing that will cause this is if you have hyper-v installed on the win8 host. Only one application at a time can use VMX, so you would need to disable hyper-v.

I asked to the producer of my pc for this problem and during the last month I updated two times the BIOS
I didn't install hyper-v, but now I find out that there are some hyper-v functionality, so I have follow this procedure:
_win+x

remove the v from hyper-v (piattaforma, strumenti di gestione, modulo per Windows powershell, strumenti di gestione con interfaccia grafica)

but nothing has changed in virtualbox..

You would talk to your PC manufacture. If this is a laptop and you have set the hardware virtualization and it still did not work, I found that some people needed to actually remove their battery for a while. I personally have never had this issue but some have and that fixed it for them.
