Running Mac OS X Mountain Lion in a virtual machine on a Windows 7 host PC. Trying to record sound using a Logitech USB Microphone (originally used for Rockband) that has previously worked on both PC's and Mac's alike. The problem occurs as I am trying to set up the MIC. Once plugged in and an attempt to access the sound settings under system preferences, the virtual machine freezes. The only way to resolve the freezing issue its to force shut down the virtual machine and restart the windows computer. Does anyone know why this issue i happening, or how to fix it?
