Remove the share and create what ever you want.
Re: Complete n00b to VMs.......
Hmm having an issue again, it worked with the first file I transferred to Share folder. I opened share folder in windows and saw file.
But now I cant see any of the files in the share folder anymore. I tried recreating a new share folder again in separate HDD and cant see the files in there. I followed the steps like you said mounted dir and then sudo command and it is indeed created in Home directory but any file I send to it is not seen in windows itself. First time It worked, I dunno whats wrong.

Ok went through the process again and now after mounting Share folder, I can see it is the correct size of separate HDD but if I copy anything I am getting a protocol error. Never mind the protocol error seemed to be from filename. I copied another file and noticed it worked so I just shortned file name and now they are both there.
Also do I need to remount everytime I boot VM, I keep having to run that sudo command every time I boot VM for the Share folder to work. In settings I have it set to auto mount, am I missing something?
