Hey Guys,
I hope you can help me. I would like to set up an Active Directory on my local computer with DCHP and DNS, but I don' know which configurations I have to use.
Should I use NAT oder Host-only Adapter?
I would be very pleased if you can help me!
Best regards
Matthias

Re: Active Directory in Virtual Box
Thank you for the answer,
but I don't know how I have to set my configurations regarding the network in virtual box. I have to use a private network? How can I get a static IP for the Server and for the clients?
Best regards
Matthias

Re: Active Directory in Virtual Box
For specific instructions on how to set up active directory you would need to go to Microsoft active directory forum.

Re: Active Directory in Virtual Box
I agree. A far as VirtualBox is concerned, Perry has given you all the info you need. You then proceed in exactly the same way as you would with physical machines on a physical switch. Any instructions to set up AD apply to both physical or virtual machines and networks.
