Error when loading saved state

I saved the state of this VM a while ago, and now that I'm trying to load it up, it gives me an error which (unsurprizingly) once again I don't understand:
First of all, how are users supposed to understand these rediculously verbose errors? What good are they if they are so incomprehensible and need further asking about on this forum?
Secondly, what's the deal here? What's going on and how to fix it?
