no "First Start Wizard"

Host: HP f5160s slimline desktop running windows 7. This is my first experience with Virtualbox. I'm trying to setup a Mac environment so I can run xcode.

I start my Mac VM, I get an error about hardware acceleration not being available, I click "continue". The Mac VM starts, I have a "2.0 Shell>" prompt, but no sign of the "First Start Wizard" mentioned in the manual.

I made a 2nd VM, same thing. I'm guessing I can just get a copy of OS X and install from the prompt.

2nd Where would you suggest that I down a copy of OS X, that works well with VB, cheaply?

Thanks

In regards to anyone other than the OP, interested in the general question, the answer is that the "first run wizard" doesn't appear if you alter any of the VM settings from their defaults. If you do so then you are effectively declaring yourself an expert who does not need the wizard.

For the OP: Important notice regarding Mac OS X as Guest.
