I had virtualbox on Linux(debian). Now i install virtual box on windows 7. I want startup my old virtual machine that was on linux host.
I create new virtual machine and choose my old harddisk(virtual machine on linux host). This harddisk is dynamic. Machine is up but it is clean(after install os).
In Shapshot there is *.vdi but it's didn't atach.

Trying following the instructions in the howto, and let's see where you are after that. The main point to note is that the goal is to move the VM, not just the disk image files. If you are going to mess with the latter then you had better be an expert, especially if it involves snapshots.

The procedure may not work when moving the VM to an incompatible host, because all path and device names in the .vbox file will be wrong. In which case the only solution would be to manually edit it with a text editor.

However, hopefully all of your media files are local to the VM folder, hence there are no paths. And hopefully you don't explictly connect to any host devices (e.g. bridging to a named NIC, mapping to a specific host drive, serial port etc).
