Check the /var/log/messages or /var/log/syslog to see what was the exact error.

Hi,
I do instead use one other Vbox which is having OL 5.9 inside, as I did accidentally removed the previous Vbox.

I've just run "Install Guest Additions" for this Vbox and have shared 2 paths of the host to it. How to access the shared place within this Vbox?

You would use a vboxsf mount on \\vboxsrv\share_name
See the User Manual on shared folders aswell as Perryg's HOWTO
