Has anyone managed to create a USB stick with a thin linux distro and VirtualBox installed?
I have a NAS box at home (sharing via NFS), and I'd like to store virtual machine images on it. I'd then like to boot a diskless machine off a USB stick which will then run VirtualBox, which will then run my virtual machine off my NFS share.
The idea is to replace my current energy-inefficient server that hosts my email etc with something like an EPIA motherboard, or one of the many Linutop style mini PC's (with enough RAM obviously). The advantage of the USB boot would allow me to boot it off my laptop or another PC in the event of a hardware failure.
