Cmd + U = VM Shutdown

I was working on the latest version of VirtualBox on OS X (10.8.3) Mountain Lion and while configuring Linux booted into a live env, I mistakenly pressed 'cmd + u' key and my Linux VM shutdown quicker than I could even process what was happening. Is there a way to disable this terrible feature or at least make it a three key sequence?

You can change the host key in the preference section.

The 'host' key? Isn't that just the key that switches between the host / client? What in the world causes my client to shutdown when I press cmd + u?

The only thing that VirtualBox has control over as far as hot-keys are the host key+*
The host key emulates a key stroke combination of ctrl+alt
As for the actual reason I don't know. R, H, & Q are the ones VirtualBox uses in combiination with the host key to reset, ACPI shutdown, & Close in that order.
That along with various guest hot keys. (host+ F1) = ctrl+alt+F1
That said if it is a VirtualBox issue changing the host key would fix that.
