Hi guys so here is my problem; I cannot get a program(s) to run full-screen while using VirtualBox (4.2.12)
My computer is a macbook pro (Mac OS X 10.6.8, Snow Leopard) and I run Windows XP through Virtual Box. I CAN run XP full-screen (since I installed Guest Additions), using the "Command+F" keys, but the moment i run this game I want to play, Heroes III, the game window is still small and in the centre of the screen whereas the surrounding area is black.
Basically it keeps XP running full-screen but it will not run my game full-screen. The game is old and has no settings that allow it to alter its screen size, moreover the exact same game/file runs perfectly normal (full-screen) on any Windows/Microsoft based PC, meaning the problem is not with the game file but rather something with how my Mac, or VirtualBox, or the Windows XP I installed (Home Edition SP3 x86) reads the game.
Please let me know if there is a way to run such programs, not just the OS, in full-screen. Thanks!
