VBoxTestOGL crashed.

Hi all,

My configuration is
Vbox version 4.2.12.
OS Win 7
motherboard asrock/ ATI.

VBOX starts with error

BEX
VBoxTestOGL.exe
5167e2d1
atioglxx.dll_unloaded

I cannot update my video drivers since I already have latest version. "Win7-64_Win7_Vista64_Vista(8.631)"

From a search on the BugTracker and these forum, this doesn't seem like a fatal error. Your VM would still start.
Is it preventing your VM from running or just pops in front of it?

Error pops in front .

Yes, it is not fatal. But it is not normal too. It really annoys like nag screen )

Can I disable VBoxTestOGL running?

It doesn't appear like you can, but only the devs would know.
From all the posts & tickets on the BugTracker, it is always a driver issue, typically some missmatching versions of DLLs in the installed drivers. I would suggest you totally uninstall & clean up your drivers file, reboot, then reinstall the latest version and reboot again.

Also taken from a post - not sure what is it worth but you never know :
This happens because the drivers distributed by OEMs and by Windows Update does NOT include the OpenGL library.
To fix this, you have to download and install the recommended video driver from the website of the computer manufacture.

I just have deleted VBoxTestOGL.exe and error has vanished!
How do you like that? )

Well that's a way for sure, very much not the one I would recommend tho...
