I have a Win 8 X64 system. I can install VB and have the VM works perfectly. However, everytime I reboot my computer, it hangs at the Windows boot up screen with the indefinite loop busy clock.
Fortunately, I'm able to do a system restore and get windows back up and running. I try to reboot a few times before I re-install VB with no problem. As soon as I reinstall VB and reboot, the same thing happens.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Windows fail to boot after I install VB

Re: Windows fail to boot after I install VB
Unless you can say why the host fails to boot, I don't see what suggestions could be offered. Try booting in safe mode, prompted loading of drivers and see how far it gets.
Also, how long did you wait before concluding the host had hung? Any kind of network change (and VBox does install networking drivers) might make it reconfigure networking, which might take a while.

FOUND THE PROBLEM.
Removed Hyper-V from the computer and it's working perfect.
