Start tag not found, VM inaccessible.

Good day,

please, i have a problem with my virtual machine.i can't open it, it states "inaccessible" with the details below.
Start tag expected, '<' not found.
Location: 'C:\Users\EBERECHI U\VirtualBox VMs\Eberechi\Eberechi.vbox', line 1 (0), column 1.

D:\tinderbox\win-4.1\src\VBox\Main\src-server\MachineImpl.cpp[707] (Machine::registeredInit).

and asks me to refresh it after i have corrected the problem, but i don't know what to do, can you help me please?

This means that the .vbox file mentioned in the error message has been corrupted.

You must shut VirtualBox down completely, then restore the file from one of the backup files which VirtualBox creates automatically. Look first for a file called "Eberechi.vbox-tmp" in the same folder (C:\Users\EBERECHI U\VirtualBox VMs\Eberechi). If found then rename the extension to ".vbox" (delete the old .vbox file). If the tmp file does not exist then look for the file called "Eberechi.vbox-prev", and rename that extension to ".vbox". Start VirtualBox and everything should be ok.
