Blank screen after selecting language.
Running VirtualBox 4.2.12 with guest additions on Windows 8 64-bit host. Trying to install Ubuntu Server 12.04 guest - however I'm getting a blank screen after I select English as my language during the initial install setup. I've attached my log files. Thanks!

How long did you wait? Log shows 3.9 seconds.

md5 checksums match. I waited at least a couple minutes - a few days ago I waited for around 20. No luck with other distros either.

Sorry, I don't do Windows 8 hosts so I'll leave this to someone that does. It must have something to do with the new UEFI because your settings should work. Speaking about that. I have read that you have to have special versions of Linux to work with the new UEFI but I don't know if that is a BIOS thing or not.
