Guest OSs don’t recognize Bridge Net in update to VBox4.2.12

Post by bkbin005 »

Guest OSs do not recognize Bridge Network Adapter in update to VirtualBox 4.2.12 .

Hi!

I was using VirtualBox 4.2.10 r84104 .
I upgraded to VirtualBox 4.2.12 .
However, Guest OSs stopped recognizing Bridge Network Adapter .

Although I downgraded to VirtualBox 4.2.10,
Guest OSs do not recognizing Bridge Network Adapter.

Unavoidably, C: drive was recoveried in the state before installation by Acronis True Image.

1) What should I do for making it recognize Bridge Network Adapter by VirtualBox 4.2.12?
2) Aren't there those in whom the same problem is held?

What do you mean exactly by "does not recognize"?

I installed VirtualBox 4.2.12 again.
I was not able to make a problem reproduce.
I'm sorry.

When I encountered a problem, the error that "Bridge Adapter did not exist" was not able to come out and I was not able to start VM.
When I looked at setting, name of "Bridge Adapter" was blank and was not able to choose "Broadcom NetLink (TM) Gigabit Ethernet."

However, I can choose it now.
It seems to be a temporary phenomenon which will be cured if it reinstalls.

Thank you.
