OpenSUSE 11.3 (Kernel 2.6.34) not starting on Vbox 4.2.10+

Hi,

It seems like the newer versions of VirtualBox don't support OpenSuse 11.3. I recently updated from VirtualBox 4.1.22 and I'm getting a kernel panic message. OpenSUse 12.2 runs ok. Is it something to do with the kernel version (2.6.34) Any plans to solve this?

Hello,

i have encountered the same Error/Behaviour but not only with OpenSuse 11.3 but OpenSuse 11.4 as well.
In some Tests i could pinpoint this to the activation of Hardware-Virtualisation (VT-X/AMD-V).
If activated, OpenSuse reproducible runs in to an Kernel-Oops while starting. The Number of virtualised CPUs was irelevant.

If Hardware-Virtualisation turned OFF, when OpenSuse 11.3 was starting correctly, even though somewhat slower.

In OpenSuse 11.1, 11.2, and 12.2 all works properly.

Here some details to my Host:
Windows 7 64bit, 8 GB RAM, 1 TB HDD

VirtualBox 4.2.12 (from the downloadlink) + VM ExtensionsPack
