Ok, so I successfully cloned my orginal snpashots into one single .vdi to increase the disc size. Booted up and all is well.
When I use clonevdi to clone and add space it damages my windows files. Tried it twice and both times my windows files were damaged and I received Windows errors that files were damaged

It's not uncommon that check disk would fire up after you increase the size of the drive. The OS is seeing something has changed. Does the check disk finish and say it is corrupt?
