Right after installing virtualbox, the process "System" PID 4 hogs a whole thread (4 cores, 8 threaded CPU), and the only way to stopping it is unistalling virtualbox.
I tried to track down the problem using process explorer, and it showed that "ntoskrnl.exe!kereleaseinstackqueuedspinlock" was using the CPU like mad.
I tried updating virtualbox's ethernet drivers thru Device Manager, but nothing helped. I unistalled the driver and nothing. I searched google to no avail. So I'm posting this here.
Anyone have a clue what's going on?

I think I fixed the issue by installing virtualbox WITHOUT USB support. Thankfully, I see no need for this so far.
Might be worth mentioning that this laptop has USB 3.0...
