Win XP and guest extensions dosn't work

I have installed Windows XP and try to activate the guest extensions.
But there is no drive with the Installer setup mounted.

Looks like the ISO Image is mounted, but an error message si shown if I try to open it:
"Der Datenträger kann nicht gelesen werden. Er ist evtl. beschädigt oder verwendt ein Format, das nicht mit Windows kompatibel ist."
~ "Cant read device. Is damaged or uses a not from Windows supported format"

If I burn the ISO File to a CD a open it on Win7 is it empty.

Any Idea whats wrong?

What version of VirtualBox?
You can always get the stand alone guest additions from HERE. Just pick the version that matches your install. Download it to the host and attach it to the virtual CD of the guest, use the file manager to access the guest additions and manually select to install them.

We have the same issue. The Guest Additions iso is not right for 4.2.10. It doesn't work in Win 7 or XP.

I use Version 4.2.10 r84104.

Where do I found the correct ISO Image in the download folder?

I use Win7 Prof. 64 Bit as Host
and Win XP SP3 as Virtual Machine.

I use Version 4.2.10 r84104.

104 had a corrupt guest additions. You need to download 105 from the link I posted above. They should have removed 104 but must have forgotten.
