Re: 'Hard Drive not found' in XP installation
This is called squeezing a quart into a pint pot. It can't be done. You would need to free up a lot of host RAM (tricky: 1GB is already a tight squeeze for Win7), and even then you'll probably still have to reduce the VM RAM allocation to 256MB, plus minimal graphics RAM.VBox.log wrote: 00:00:05.841049 Host RAM: 958MB total, 149MB available
...
00:00:06.466980 RamSize <integer> = 0x0000000020000000 (536 870 912, 512 MB)
Also, the picture you posted is just the starting screen of an XP install. I don't see the error message from your post title. The Guru Meditation error in the log file is about lack of memory as you would expect.

You can post another 20 blue screens, but your problem will not change.
Buy more RAM. 4 GB is today a minimum to use Virtualization in a perfomant way. Without more RAM it will not work

Can you attach as a zip file the output of the following command (you must be in Virtualbox installation path):
Code: Select all
vboxmanage showvminfo <yourvmname> --detailsHyperbox - Virtual Infrastructure Manager - https://apps.kamax.lu/hyperbox/

Re: 'Hard Drive not found' in XP installation
Thank you, stefan.becker.
I created a new VM on another PC with 4G RAM and it's now running.
