My original OS is windows 7 32 bit, I have couple VM in virtualbox. there are two folders, one called "HardDisks" and the other called "Machines".

Now have a clean install of windows 7 64 bit. Installed Virtualbox as well. How my question is: is there an easy way that I can import those VMs I created in win7 32bit OS to the the virtualbox in win 7 64 bit OS?

Just copy those folders, plus the VirtualBox.xml file, into the <user>\.VirtualBox folder on the new PC.

Is that all you have? VMs created since v4.0.0 will have been created in the <userdoc>\VirtualBox VMs folder.

I suggest that you bring this VMs up to v4.x folder structure standards as soon as possible. Cloning is the easiest way. Search the forums first for previous discussions on this.

Thanks mpack. My old version of virtualbox is 3.2.8. I will first upgrade to the latest version and then do the copying.
