que tal buenos dias.. tengo un tema quiero utilizar el programa vbox apra correr un juego (L2) el tema es el siguiente espero q alguien entienda mi pregunta, cuando quiero loguear mi cuenta el l2 desde la pc virtual me da un error (your protocol is different), al mirar la ip de salida veo q es la misma de la pc base.. le comento q tengo un tplink td-w8901g (modem router)

However, I am guessing that "game L2" refers to Lineage 2, and that your problem is that the game server is complaining that your PC does not meet the minimum graphical requirements. The answer below assumes that is your question.

1. 1. First, make sure you have installed the guest additions.
   2. Second, you might need to enable 3D acceleration in the guest, before you install the Guest Additions. You have not said what the guest OS is. If it's a Windows guest then install the Guest Additions in "safe mode". Experimental WDDM drivers are available for Vista and later, these do not need to be installed in safe mode, but as far as I know there is no harm doing so.
   3. Even with the guest additions installed, some games will not like running on a virtual PC. Virtual PCs are not well suited to gaming, so if the game refuses to run then nothing can be done.

If the issue really is with the network protocol then I don't see how VirtualBox could cause that problem - it doesn't implement any network protocols inside the guest.

Thanks for your answer, but I think the error is for my outgoing ip virtual pc .. I think it is a router configuration

A thought does occur, which is that the game protocol may require your guest OS to use bridged networking mode (default NAT settings are really only good for simple internet browsing).
