Hi,
I am using bridged adapter on Win7 host with Debian guest (the laptop is part of wireless network at home). But I am having a problem with it when I am outside. This setup works fine at home. I can ssh to my Debian or Debian can see my Pc etc. But when I am outside using a wireless connection (say at a cafe for example), this does not work. The guest is assigned an ip, it can connect to internet but I am not able to ssh or ping the Debian guess.
Maybe this is not the best setup for multiple locations like this. Is there a better way to deal with laptop setup with Virtualbox?
thanks

Yes. Add a second adapter in the guest settings and set it to host-only. See chapter 6 in your VirtualBox users manual.
