First, I sorry for my poor English.
I have a problem if I´d like to know if it has a solution. I work in a Institute where we use VirtualBox as virtualizer software. Although, for security reasons, it is prohibited to use the bridge adapter some "bad" pupils put in bridge their virtual machines and it generate problems in the network.
My request or question is the next: Is it possible to associate a virtual machine (with MAC, ip or other way...) with its host o real machine, that is, how does it know the real machine where the virtual machine in bridge is hosted?
The network is a Active Directory with samba4.
Thanks very much for your help.
It`s posible associate a MV in bridge with its Real Machine?

Re: It`s posible associate a MV in bridge with its Real Mach
From a networking point of view, the only way to find out where a VM is hosted using bridging is checking on the switches the associated MACs to each port.
You'll find that a host and all its VMs are located on the same switch port.
