usb pass through not functioning version 4.2.10r84104

Hallo,
installed the latest version and can not make availabe the plugged usb-devices any more.
What can I do? Any Idea?

wenn I enter in the gui it says something like:

The service is possibly not installed on your computer..

Download the release 84105 and remove the 84104 and install the r84105

Thank you, it ist now functioning again. I did the same before, without _removing_ the old version.

What I did not, too, was to install the extention pack. Should I? In this case no 4.2.10r84105 seems available.

84105 was a fast release after it became known that the guest additions within were corrupt. No the 84104 ExtPack is the right one.
