VBox 4.2.10 can't add bridge network adapter

Hallo,

I mada a fresh installation of VirtualBox 4.2.10 on Windows 7 64 Bit (no previous version installed on this machine). I used configuration files from an other installation (4.1.18-78361) and copied them to folder C:\Users\<username>\.virtualbox. In each vm I can't add bridge network adapters: in field "Name" I can only choose "not choosen" and got a red written hint to choose network adapter, but I know from other installation there should be listed all my physical network adapters, but they are not listed. What is there wrong? Is it a problem of VBox 4.2.10? In version 4.1.18-78361 I didn't have this problem.

Network adapters are all present in device manager (see uploaded screenshot), but VirtualBox says "Nonexistent host networking interface, name" (see uploaded screenshot).

For bridged networking you can only choose network adapters which have the "VirtualBox Bridged Networking Driver" enabled for them. Open the Network Connections dialog, pick an adapter and view it's properties. The bridged mode driver was an optional feature of the VirtualBox installation.

ok, thank you very much. The VirtualBox Brigded Networking Drive is not installed - this behaviour is new in VBox 4.2.x ?!. But I could not install, because host operating system windows 7 says "the lmit of installed filters is reached". I had this problem already earlier and know I have to set a registry value. I looked in Google and found: "MaxNumFilters" key under "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SYSTEM \ CurrentControlSet \ Control \ Network" has to be changed from "8" to i.e. "9" and than to reinstall VirtualBox Brigded Networking Drive under network adapter.

Now all works right.
