Hi

I am trying to resize VDIs (dynamic allocation) on OS X 10.8.3, but all disk I try fails with VBOX_E_NOT_SUPPORTED:

bolt:debian-bolt dennis$ VBoxManage showhdinfo debian-bolt.vdi
UUID: 539cd54c-bdb1-4ffd-820f-14f3c3750ef7
Accessible: yes
Logical size: 8192 MBytes
Current size on disk: 8178 MBytes
Type: normal (base)
Storage format: VDI
Format variant: dynamic default
In use by VMs: debian-bolt (UUID: b0eeac53-e3da-4562-ac74-eb7319aaa789)
Location: /Users/dennis/VirtualBox VMs/debian-bolt/debian-bolt.vdi
bolt:debian-bolt dennis$ VBoxManage modifyhd --resize 1000 539cd54c-bdb1-4ffd-820f-14f3c3750ef7
0%...
Progress state: VBOX_E_NOT_SUPPORTED
VBoxManage: error: Resize hard disk operation for this format is not implemented yet!

Do I need to remove it from the VM first?

Thank in advance.

Bummer, just realise the Error 40.

I thought the size was the extra space to be added. When Using the new size, it works.
