I have the Debian 6.0.7-amd iso.
Installing in Virtual box 4.2. I get to the point when I get the Debian install screen that gives me the menu offering the choices of how to install it. I use the arrow keys (mouse doesn't work at this stage) to move up and down the choices. As soon as I press ENTER to select a choice the screen freezes and nothing happens. I have tried this on two different machines both with 64-bit processor running Windows 7 (one is 32-bit OS and the other 64-bit)
Incidentally one of the choices on that menu is Advanced Options and I press ENTER on that and it successfully brings up another menu. However trying to select any of those menu options also locks up.
The distro will install correctly without a virtual machine. Incidentally installing it on a VM through VMware Player seems to be OK. So the problem appears to be with Virtualbox which I would prefer to use.
Can you help me with this problem?
TIA
Brian
