Hi,
I have ubuntu running in Mac OS.X 10.8.2, first of all I have some of the various resolution errors others have mentioned if I am not running in full screen.
If I am running full screen then every now and then, quite frequently actually, I would like to switch out of full screen I do that with command - L, if I come right back it works fine but if I stay out for around 5-6 minutes then when I expand my virtualbox window again I cannot click anywhere inside of the virtualbox window and have that click get caught.
The only solution I seem to have then is to shut down virtualbox completely and restart, which seems overly drastic.
actually, just now after writing this post it happened again. But when I started up the virtualbox it window there was a brief flash showing the login before it showed the previous display. I randomly typed on the keyboard and was able to get the correct login form, and login - which got rid of the problem. So actually the screen being frozen is just that it is not showing the login screen like it should. Like an improper screen paint has happened. Is there a key combination, tactic to get around this problem?

Re: lose ability to focus mouse, keyboard
It sounds like the wrong window has the keyboard focus. It might be minimized, the dialog creation may have failed for some reason. I would think along those lines for a solution.
