I want to install win8 64bit on a asus x51rlseries laptop using virtualbox
when I try to create the virtual machine I am offered win8 but not win8 64 bit on the virtual box settings screen, as I have seen in some tutorials.
I believe that my processor is 64 bit
I have checked for bios settings about virtualization but there is nothing like that shown.
Any suggestions gratefully received.

Window 8 requires hardware virtualization in VirtualBox. If you don't have it you will not be able to run Win 8 nor any 64-bit guests.
