I have a Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit host. I have two XP HyperV VHDs - one is a C drive (system drive) and the other is a D drive (data drive) - that came out of a HyperV VM and work flawlessly in HyperV 2008 R2 Core. I have as far as I can tell disabled every 'special feature' in the Virtual Box VM's I am trying to start these up in but keep getting the following:
XP Logo comes up.
Blue screen starting with "A problem has been detected ..."IRQ_NOT_LESS_or_EQL" I will attach the screen shot and also the log.
If anybody can help it would be appreciated.

Re: IRQ_NOT_LESS_or_EQL
VirtualBox doesn't claim to be able to run Hyper-v VMs. There is a lot more to a VM platform than just the container file format.
The error indicates a driver problem in the guest - you have a buggy driver or a driver not suited to the hardware selected in the VM recipe. You could possibly try booting up in safe mode and uninstalling everything relating to a Hyper-v host. Or, you could try booting from a setup CD and repair the installation.

Thanks for the response. I thought I had read that Virtual Box supported VHD's. If not I'll find another solution.

Re: IRQ_NOT_LESS_or_EQL
VirtualBox does indeed support VHDs (i.e. it has no problems at all reading the drive), but whether the drive contents will be happy in their new home is a different kettle of fish.
