VM crashing when Mac host wakes up from sleep
VM crashing when Mac host wakes up from sleep
Since 4.2.6, and 4.2.8 has the same problem, when closing my laptop and opening in another location, my Windows VM instantly crashes. It is displayed in the VirtualBox as "Aborted". When starting windows back up, it says that it was shutdown improperly.

These kinds of problems that are reproducible should be reported to bugtracker. If you have not signed on to Bugtracker before you will need to select a new Nickname to be able to report issues.
It would also help if you can post the ticket number here so other can see the progress, add information, or see the final results.

Have you checked out Power Management in the Guest?bgarner wrote:Since 4.2.6, and 4.2.8 has the same problem, when closing my laptop and opening in another location, my Windows VM instantly crashes. In all my Guests I have it disabled, cause i believe that the Host handles the situation just fine.
