Hello,
I have a couple of games that I want to play inside of my guest Linux Mint xfce, like The Settlers IV for example. However, I experience problems with their 'drm'.
Whenever I want to play my game it asks me to input the CD, which I have. So I googled my lil' problem and came to the understanding that I should enable passtrough, so I did, booted up, mounted the disk and tried again, but no luck. Unfortunatly(?) these solution worked for everybody else, so I wasn't able to find any alternative methods or solutions. So as a last resort I came here.
Any ideas on what I should do?
Thanks in advance.

Re: IDE CD Passtrough for games
If enabling passthough in the VM Storage settings for the CD/DVD drive doesn't fix it, then there is nothing which can be done; except perhaps approach the game developers for technical support.
