USB device not being recognized on Win 7

I'm running VBOX on my Macbook Pro with a Windows 7 image and trying to connect a USB device (Naza Controller to configure my quad copter) to Win7 and it’s not being recognized. I’m running version 4.2.8 with both the extension pack and the additions installed. With the Win 7 image running and the Naza Controller pulled into the host USB I try to select the controller under the devices and get a message about it being already in use. On my Mac it doesn’t show up in my device manage nor does it appear like any sort of mounted drive I can eject. I have also tried to configure the image to use USB 2.0 and standard with no luck.
Any ideas?

Got it - reduced the CPUs from 2 to 1 and that seemed to have fixed it. All my USBs are working fine now.
