Hi All,
I've got several VM's on my laptop that range from Windows 2003 - Win 2008 R2. Stood up a Windows 2012 and set up a shared folder to my software folder on my host. Login and I do not see the folder presented under my computer. Tried different drives, stood up another Win 2012 vm same issue. Anyone have this issue, and if so is there a work around?

Re: Shared Folders on Windows 2012 VM
I'm puzzled. To me, "stood up" means my girlfriend didn't turn up for a date. What does it mean to you?
Did you install the guest additions inside this VM?
You should also post the problem VM log file as a zipped attachment. See Minimum information needed for assistance.

Hi Mpack,
Sorry for the slang, Stood up in terms of a computer means to set up and install. "I stood up the server today", more of slang from a moving term when you would deliver something like a heavy appliance and it would be on it's side in the box, you would need to "Stand it up" before you could plug it in and use it. I was just using it in past tense
.
I wanted to smack my forehead you hit is spot on, I didn't have the guest additions installed. I was going to post the log and installed them and rebooted, then the shared drive was presented.
Thanks!
