Connect VM on two different systems

Hi,

This is my scenario:
I have two laptops, both with Windows 7 as the Host OS. I have installed Virtual Box in both the systems and have installed Ubuntu 10.04 Servers on both the system. I need to connect both the systems via LAN cable so that both my guest OSes are connected. Basically I am trying to simulate a Cloud environment for my Thesis work and I need to get this done.

I have connected both the systems via LAN, set the cross-over IP addresses and created a common WorkGroup. This has ensured me that both the HOST OSes are pinging each other.

What should I do to get the Guest OSes also connected - I mean what should be the network settings in Virtual Box?

Thanks in advance.

The guests need to be using bridged networking. That makes the VMs into peers on the same network your laptop hosts are using. It would also be simpler if a Router was available to to hand out IP addresses, otherwise you need to know how to configure such a network manually.
