Maybe the problem is that I did install a bootable version of Windows 7?
I don't see "C:" partition...

It looks like you didn't install Win7 at all, you just booted a WinPE boot CD where nothing can be installed (CDFS is not writable).

No, dont forget "light". We dont know what you want to do.

But there can be no Windows 7. There is no disk space used for win7. You cant have installed it.

It think you use a Win7 PE ISO Image. But that is not an updateable Win7 Installation.

What you have is WinPE, which is a rescue mini-OS. It is not Windows 7.
The X drive is a RAM drive created by WinPE which is expanded version of the boot.wim located on the Win PE disk, where all the files reside.

So first, you need to install Windows 7 with a Windows 7 install disk, or whatever other OS you want to install. WinPE IS NOT a full OS, and is READ only. it is a RESCUE/SYSADMIN disk.
