I created a VM which works well. The next day I tried to start it and would get an access denied error. I determined that my profile in Windows was corrupted and the VM file is my old profile folder. When I try to edit the settings of the VM and save I get an access denied because it is trying to save to my old profile folder. I copied the VM folder from the old profile to the current profile but that isn't working. VirtualBox still only wants to look in the original location for the file. I seem to be stuck.
Thanks,
Jon

Re: How do I move a VM?
- First, put things back the way they were.
- Run VirtualBox and remove (but not delete) the VM.
- Shut down VirtualBox, leave for 30 seconds.
- Move the enter VM folder to wherever you want.
- Run VirtualBox and use Machine|Add... to register the VMs .vbox file at its new location.
