Hi,
Wondering if anybody else has had issues with windows update and windows 8.
I am using a Dell Poweredge T410 and 2GB of Memory on windows 8 Guest.
I installed Windows 8 and Virtual Box Guest Additions 4.26. After doing that I attempted to do a Windows Update.
Everything seems fine but when I click on windows Update it takes a long time to start or to do anything with Windows Update.
I select Check for updates and it shows no sign of life and takes hours to get anything then when I finally see the updates I click to install and the same issue occurs.
This doesn't happen with windows 7. Anybody have any ideas?
Thanks
Scott

Ok Thanks
So any other suggestions. I turned off Windows Firewall and Windows Defender.

I'm experiencing the same behavior on multiple Windows guests (Windows 7 mostly, but also Windows Server 2012 R2). Did you find a resolution?
