Unable to run any Linux guest

Hello,

I am unable to run any Linux guest on Windows 7 host.

My system specs are the following:
Windows 7 64 bit
16gb of ram
Amd six core CPU

Every time I attempt to install any Linux host it freezes after post install reboot and then I can't run the Linux guest. I get the message "virtual box manager has stopped working"
I have included a log file for analysis. I am running the latest version of VB with extensions installed. The guest either won't start or gets corrupted.

Thanks

We need the VM log file, not the VBoxSVC log. Please see Minimum information needed for assistance.

Hello all

Let me provide some more details:

Version of Virtual Box:4.2.6r82870 (extensions installed)

Host: Windows 7 64bit 16Gb of ram
Guest: Ubuntu 12.10 32bit 4mb allocated (guest additions installed)
150gb allocated on host drive

Guests hangs during first reboot after install, forced to issue reset.
After install of guests additions and attempting to log into guest receive message from host "Oracle VM manager has stopped working"
Attached is VM log file.

I suggest turning on IO-APIC. I also suggest reducing the RAM allocation of the VM to 2GB, which is twice plenty for any 32bit OS.
