SAME WM, SAME host OS (W8/64), same VBox, one does not run

Hello Everybody,
I have created from a Notebook (lets call it NTB_A)running Win Vista 32bit a VirtualBox WM. Then I tested it on my notebook (Win 8/64bit., Centrino 2, 3GB RAM). Everything ok.
Then I have installed on the NTB_A a fresh install of Win 8/64 bit, Centrino2, 4GB RAM, a bit faster. Installed the same version of VirtualBox. Loaded and seted up the WM (all the same), and it does not run.
It starts to load, switches to graphical UI, and the snake on the bottom shows one green square and everything goes to blue Hell (0x0000007f (0x0000000b,...)

I am attaching the log, if you can understand it and find anything.

In case of more info needed, just ask :-)

Thank you.

JL

It would probably help if you enabled VT-x, or disable whatever is currently using it (e.g. Hyper-v). I notice also that you are allocating most of your available RAM to the VM - this often causes problems. Finally, I see you have IO APIC disabled - IMHO this should generally be enabled for versions of Windows beyond XP.

Hello mpack,
Thank you, I have conducted a little research and found a modified BIOS for the notebook, that enables VT-x. After that, it works like a charm. Memmory should not be a problem, as I am running it as the only thing on the OS, when necessary and because ut is on SSD, even the swapping does not degrade the speed.

Thank you again for the right direction.

Best
